Develop Energy Use Trends Using Innovative Visualization Techniques / Analysis Tools


Project Overview: The goal of this project is to model the energy usage of navy
operated buildings using existing metering data and the audit information.

Intern Responsibilities: Extract building attributes and energy usage of each building from the pdf files. Perform exploratory data analysis to summarize statistical distribution of building attributes. Build predictive models of energy consumption using building characteristics attributes. Build visualization dashboards to synopsize the findings.

Qualifications: Comfortable working in scripting languages used in analytics (Python preferred). Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, D3.js, etc. Exposure to statistical/machine learning tools and techniques. Motivated learner pursuing undergrad in quantitative field.
